I’m sure you all know that I am a great fan of ProFantasy’s Campaign Cartographer. It is, bar none, the best fantasy mapping software around. Like many companies, ProFantasy offers an affiliate program that pays a small commission for referrals. Over the years, I have referred a great many people. All those commissions have added up to enough for me to purchase the Annuals Bundle for about half price!

I am currently, in the process of downloading them. Once I’ve had a chance to play with all these wonderful new toys, expect lots of posts about them.

What Are The Annuals?

Each month, ProFantasy releases additional content to subscribers. These releases can include: maps, symbols, mapping styles, tutorials, tools, macros, and whatever other wonderful innovations they can come up with.

Do I Need Them?

I’ve gotten by without them for years. The core program (and it’s addons: DD3 and CD3) provide everything you need to make incredible maps. But after a while all your maps tend to look the same. All the new styles allow you to give each of your maps a unique look. All the styles alone, imo, make the Annuals well worth the price. But they also teach technique, provide additional tools, and include tons of symbols.
